You, The Olympian?

You’re 18 years old, athletic and all of that and you’re in Beijing at the Olympics. You worked hard to get there, put in a lot of time you would rather have been doing other things with other people your own age. There have been a lot of sacrifices between you being in Beijing and you being just another high school kid. But now you’re here and tomorrow is your big day, the day you go before the world for your one big moment at your Olympic event. There is pressure to perform for your country, your family and yourself. Which do you feel the most, which matters most to you and why?

Word Grrls is my mad science experiment, my adventures with fame and world domination (politely). This is where I inspire people to create: invent mutations, cause change, bring colour into your world. Web writer since 1998. Find me on StumbleUpon , and Tumblr.
