Twisted Friends

Pick a friend, someone you know well. Now write them as a character in a story, but twisted. Change their personality so that if they were to read what you had written they could never be sure you had written about them.

That’s pretty much what I just did for my NaNoWriMo novel. It’s a murder mystery and I sure hope the real life acquaintance whom I cast as the killer doesn’t recognize him(her)self.
