A Creepy Phone Feeling

I was offline for almost a week. It was making me a bit crazy. Thinking of so many things cut off and needing to be completed. Strange how much you realize you are involved with when it is all gone without warning. In my case, it is back along with myself. But I am a bit frazzled after dealing without a phone for a week.

If your Internet connection and phone line were fritzed right now, what would you be missing, what would you be stuck with unfinished and who would you really need to call but not be able to? It is a creepy feeling to see how much we really do depend on the phone. (Not that I am giving in to the whole cell phone thing, why have double the headaches?)

Word Grrls is my mad science experiment, my adventures with fame and world domination (politely). This is where I inspire people to create: invent mutations, cause change, bring colour into your world. Web writer since 1998. Find me on StumbleUpon , and Tumblr.

Yikes – no eBay, Etsy, Ebid, online banking – not to mention hotmail, msn and yahoo accounts!

I’d go to the library and use the public servers because of all the online business we do.
