Sorry for the black background. I use a lot of black in my art. It reminds me of deep space...
Peace,

Thanks for the kind words about my cousin (not brother) - who is actually very proud to just be my cousin. There is honor enough in that. While he feels like a big brother, he is my cousin.

And how wonderful that what I wrote and his example has inspired you. Thanks for sharing our stories and your own and keep blogging your passion!

I am going to add a background image to bring in a little red. I've got the plan I just need to find the image in my hard drive or on one of the CD's I burned. I know it is saved somewhere as I made it for my personal site ages ago.

I kept the dates off to try it that way for a bit. Besides, this blog theme was only showing the time, without the date. Seemed a bit odd.

Glad you are enjoying the words Theresa. I keep writing them. :)

Personal blog can be interesting. Creativity + imagination could bring the blog to a higher level even the blog is just a personal blog

The only practical thing that you might consider is dating your posts. I find it easier to say "scroll down to Feb. 29th" when sending a link than "search for Mommy Blogs; it's the third post about them on the page, unless she's added something else lately." Again, my personal preference.

I have really enjoyed your new color :). Not in the outlay or the pictures, but in the ideas and the wording. I like this format and physical color, by the way. I remember the red word grrls blog, but didn't visit it that often partly because of the unreadability, just a personal preference.

I was leery when you said you were going to change. I love your prompts. I'm just not the "and I had cheerios for breakfast, two bowels, and then Summer came over and we made plans for the trip into town next week" and so forth - but I should have known better :).

If I remember correctly, at one point you were considering giving up completely, and I'm so glad you didn't. :)

Have a great weekend!
