Going Green in a New Way?

“Shamrock only exists on St. Patrick’s Day. Every other day of the year, it’s just young clover.” – Charles Nelson.

What will you turn green for St. Patrick’s Day? Beyond the typical green beer, green eggs and ham and the wearing of something green… come up with a whole new concept in going green.

My Grandmother was Irish. I think of her on St. Patrick’s Day especially.

We wear shamrock- a real clump of it on a jacket over the breast. Any other display – green things etc – seems out of place here on the old-soil but oddly not when in Exile. Here, the Shamrock is enough.

Happy St Patrick’s Day, ‘A Cailin Deas’. :)
