Dare to Rhyme

Rhymes have become something for children. We, as adults, are too sophisticated for the tall wall with the bouncy ball. Why? Once you get into it, going down a few lines at a time you find it gets harder and harder. Rhyming can be a real challenge. See if you can start with five lines, all rhyming but building a story that makes sense. Aim for ten lines once you get to five. How many rhyming lines can you come up with?

At the shopping mall

by the brick wall,

rested a red ball

No one could recall

who let it fall.

Though the guy was tall

at the pool hall

he saw nothing at all.
