I did have two people complain about that, but it's a personal site - what is it for if not to experiment and enjoy. This one I am not likely to change. My brain has to be visually pleased for me to not be distracted, and it changes its tastes regularly. For a while it wants color (especially red), then it'll want only B & W, then it'll want dark page, then it'll want white. I go mostly for what you do--though I do have a disconcerting love for sidebars. I've kept that down to two, until recently, when I went with only one. Go figure.
