Word Grrls / What is Your Designer Skin?

Skin is interesting. Have you ever really thought about it?

I have eczema and allergies. I also get cold sores. Not something I'd usually start a conversation with, but having skin issues has given me a reason to think about my skin. Some people have skin issues, medical things like my own.Warts and moles come to mind. People get different types of skin: dry, oily, acne, wrinkles, age spots, tans, freckles and so on. Then there are tattoos, I don't have any, and skin colours. Animals have skin which changes colour depending on the colour and patterns of their fur. I noticed this with my black and white cat.

Skin is the filter between the outside of your body and the inside of your body, a lot of work to keep the two apart and you safe from the environment. Muscles and bones keep it all together in one package but skin keeps it covered. Skin protects us and decorates us.

Now consider this - we design CSS skins for our web sites. With some know how you can create a vastly different look with a few changes to your code. What if we could do the same with our skin.

What kind of designer skin would you create for yourself? If you had no limits, other than not having open patches which could become infected, what skin would you be in?
